Project Life: Week 24

Day 164:June 14

When I ask him to smile lately, this is the silly little smirk I get.

Day 165: June 15

"Mommy, up!" I just love this little man!

Day 166: June 16

Sweet Pea insisted on wearing her princess crown all day today.

Day 167: June 17

We went bowling today with the Tompkins and Valerie kept holding Almanzo's hand to lead the way.

Day 168: June 18

The kids love to ride their bikes around the driveway. Tonight, Ted joined them and Almanzo thought it was pretty funny to see daddy on Valerie's big wheel. Also, I love that they're both riding on PINK bikes. LOL!

Day 169: June 19

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful hubby - our two little ones absolutely adore their daddy...and he adores them too!

Day 170: June 20

I forgot to take a picture today, so this is a photo of my little man saying "cheese!" for the camera while waiting at the dentist on June 21.

Project Life 2011: Week 23

Day 157: June 7

Valerie loves to sing. She makes up songs and dances around singing at the top of her lungs. This is one of her many facial expressions as she sang me one of her made up songs.

Day 158: June 8

I just love this little man and his bright blue eyes.

Day 159: June 9

Miss V put these silly glasses on today and asked me to take a picture of her. Her face here just cracks me up!

Day 360: June 10

I had a PartyLite party tonight and, after running around playing, Almanzo's hair was so sweaty my sister, Kelly, combed his hair into a mohawk. Too funny!

Day 161: June 11

I was trying to take pictures of miss V's cute pigtails, but she was having none of it. This is her, "Seriously, mom? More pictures?" look.

Day 162: June 12

We cheered on our favorite mountain biker today and the kids were so excited to see daddy "bike fast"!

Day 163: June 13

Big girl got her very own library card today when we went their to sign up for the summer reading program.

*The TWO winners of my Courageous giveaway are Holly and Laura.  I will email you to get your addresses right away.  Congratulations!*

Project Life 2011: Week 21-22

Day 143: May 24

Little stinker almost figured out how to take his cloth diapers off.

Day 144: May 25

"yeddo...come! go!" says miss Valerie as she holds her "yeddo"s hand and leads the way to the van.

Day 145: May 26

Every Thursday this summer I will be meeting at a local coffee shop with a sweet girl named Rachel. This is our third summer of studying God's word together and I'm excited to see what God teaches us this year!

Day 146: May 27

We took a bike ride to Buttermilk Park today and the kids had so much fun playing on the playground. They were being SO silly!

Day 147: May 28

We took a walk on the trail by the hospital and the kids were enthralled by the water.

Day 148: May 29

We celebrated the graduations of my brothers, Dan and DJ, today and our little ones had so much fun playing outside all day long. By the end of the day. Sweet Pea was so tired she fell asleep in daddy's lap.

Day 149: May 30

We set up the little pool in the backyard today while Ted was painting the deck. Valerie didn't really like when she got wet. She kept walking over to me and whining, "mommy, I wet!" and even started to take her swimming suit off at one point.

Day 150: May 31

Wearing daddy's hat and acting tough...cutest little "punk kid" ever. LOL!

Day 151: June 1

There's nothing sweeter than watching new friendships blossom.

Day 152: June 2

This is what a hard earned fifteen pound weight loss looks like.

Day 153: June 3

Apparently one book isn't enough when you can have a whole PILE of books instead.

Day 154: June 4

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed.

Day 155: June 5

Princess Sweet Pea relaxing on a hot summer day in her princess chair.

Day 156: June 6

Happy Birthday Uncle Dan!

Project Life 2011: Week 19-20

Day 129: May 10

There's just something about this little man's smile that brightens any day. You can't help but smile when he does!

Day 130: May 11

Even though it was a little chilly tonight, I took the kids outside after dinner for a little play time. It was just what they needed to burn off energy before bed.

Day 131: May 12

Today, the sun was out and it was almost 80 degrees - a rare warm day in Wisconsin. It had rained a little the day before, so the kids were quick to find the puddles and had a blast splish splashing around.

Day 132: May 13

After Ted returns from a bike ride, he often does some stretches in the living room before he changes and eats dinner. Tonight, Valerie decided she wanted to stretch too.

Day 133: May 14

We visited my family today while Ted did an endurance mountain bike race, because it was cold and rainy all day. My brother, DJ, brought this medicine ball back from college as he moved all his stuff back home and Almanzo decided he would practice being a strong man by carrying it around. Too funny!

Day 134: May 15

As Ted turned on Elmo for the daily bedtime routine, my two babies crawled into my arms and cuddled up to me. These are the moments I love.

Day 135: May 16

Almanzo was sad because Valerie took a toy away from him. I told her she needed to say sorry and give him a hug, so she walked over to him and said, "hug", as he stood up from crying on the floor and smiled as they gave each other the sweetest hug.

Day 136: May 17

Today, we took a bike ride to a nearby park, spent over and hour playing, and enjoyed a picnic lunch with Ted - the perfect way to spend one of the rare sunny days here.

Day 137: May 18

Milk mustache ;)

Day 138: May 19

Little Man doesn't like when we say "no!" about ANYthing.

Day 139: May 20

Today we went to the YMCA Gymnastic Center for open gym and the kids had so much fun playing with all the equipment there. Miss V even got to wear her tutu from Aunt Kelly. I can't wait to sign her up for tumbling class!

Day 140: May 21

Last night, our oven looked like the 4th of July when the electric coils started to spark while cooking dinner. This morning, when we opened it up to check on it, this is what we discovered. I am so thankful we were able to stop it before it got worse...and for a sweet friend who gave us a new (used) stove.

Day 141: May 22

Despite some nasty thunderstorms, my hubby and I enjoyed a little picnic dinner date while my sister watched our little ones. I love him so much!

Day 142: May 23

My little monkey fell on his face today and was bleeding (a common occurence in our house), so, after cuddling him and reassuring him, I gave him a wet wash cloth to chew on, and a stuffed dog to cuddle with. He just looked so sweet here, I had to take a picture.
