New Look

My blogging friend, Veronica, just got a blog makeover and it's super cute - check it out! I loved it so much, I decided it was time for a change on my blog too. What do you think?

Also, thanks for the prayers for me. My cold is finally getting better after laying low at home for two days. I really dislike being sick...especially when I'm pregnant and can't really take much for it. So, I truly appreciate all your encouragement and prayers!

A Little Bit About Blogger

UPDATE:
Oops - I was wrong about the OpenID - I really don't know how that works. But, I did enable 'Anonymous' comments. You can select 'Comment As:' 'Anonymous' or 'Name/URL'. If you have a blog from a different source not listed in the pull-down menu or a website, you can choose 'Name/URL' and type in your name plus the URL of your website or blog to leave a post. If not, you can choose 'Anonymous' and just right your name with your comment.

Original Post:
A couple of people have mentioned having trouble leaving comments on our new blog, so I thought I'd let you know here how you can do it.

Where to comment:

Under each post, you can click where it says comments in white lettering. This will bring you to a page that shows only that post and a box to type in your comment.

How to comment:

First, you need to choose who you will comment as. Underneath the box where you type in your comment, it says 'Comment as:' along with a drop down menu. If you have a Google ID and are already logged in, your Google ID will show up here. Mine is Mom2Valerie, so if I were to leave a comment I would say 'Comment as:' and select 'Mom2Valerie'.

If you don't have a Google ID, but have a username through LiveJournal, WordPress, TypePad, or AIM, you can select one of those four words to comment as. For example, my old AIM name was stephalindyloo, so after selecting AIM, a box would pop up prompting me to type in my AIM name. I would then type in my AIM username 'stephalindyloo'. You would do the same for LiveJournal, WordPress, or TypePad.

If you don't have either of these, you can comment as OpenID. After selecting OpenID, a box will pop up prompting you to type in an OpenID. You could then type in your name or nickname or whatever you would prefer to use. For example, if I were chooseing this option, I could type in 'Stephanie'.

When you've chosen who you will comment as and written your comment, you can then click 'Preview' to see how your comment will look or click 'Post Comment' to publish your comment.

Also, if you have a google ID, you can 'Follow' my blog by clicking on the top right corner of my blog where it says 'Follow this blog'. I love this feature, because it sends any new post to your 'Dashboard', so you can quickly tell what blogs you read have a new post.

I hope that helps! Let me know if it does by leaving a comment after this post.
