Project Life 2011: Week 19-20

Day 129: May 10

There's just something about this little man's smile that brightens any day. You can't help but smile when he does!

Day 130: May 11

Even though it was a little chilly tonight, I took the kids outside after dinner for a little play time. It was just what they needed to burn off energy before bed.

Day 131: May 12

Today, the sun was out and it was almost 80 degrees - a rare warm day in Wisconsin. It had rained a little the day before, so the kids were quick to find the puddles and had a blast splish splashing around.

Day 132: May 13

After Ted returns from a bike ride, he often does some stretches in the living room before he changes and eats dinner. Tonight, Valerie decided she wanted to stretch too.

Day 133: May 14

We visited my family today while Ted did an endurance mountain bike race, because it was cold and rainy all day. My brother, DJ, brought this medicine ball back from college as he moved all his stuff back home and Almanzo decided he would practice being a strong man by carrying it around. Too funny!

Day 134: May 15

As Ted turned on Elmo for the daily bedtime routine, my two babies crawled into my arms and cuddled up to me. These are the moments I love.

Day 135: May 16

Almanzo was sad because Valerie took a toy away from him. I told her she needed to say sorry and give him a hug, so she walked over to him and said, "hug", as he stood up from crying on the floor and smiled as they gave each other the sweetest hug.

Day 136: May 17

Today, we took a bike ride to a nearby park, spent over and hour playing, and enjoyed a picnic lunch with Ted - the perfect way to spend one of the rare sunny days here.

Day 137: May 18

Milk mustache ;)

Day 138: May 19

Little Man doesn't like when we say "no!" about ANYthing.

Day 139: May 20

Today we went to the YMCA Gymnastic Center for open gym and the kids had so much fun playing with all the equipment there. Miss V even got to wear her tutu from Aunt Kelly. I can't wait to sign her up for tumbling class!

Day 140: May 21

Last night, our oven looked like the 4th of July when the electric coils started to spark while cooking dinner. This morning, when we opened it up to check on it, this is what we discovered. I am so thankful we were able to stop it before it got worse...and for a sweet friend who gave us a new (used) stove.

Day 141: May 22

Despite some nasty thunderstorms, my hubby and I enjoyed a little picnic dinner date while my sister watched our little ones. I love him so much!

Day 142: May 23

My little monkey fell on his face today and was bleeding (a common occurence in our house), so, after cuddling him and reassuring him, I gave him a wet wash cloth to chew on, and a stuffed dog to cuddle with. He just looked so sweet here, I had to take a picture.
